$35,000,000 of the proceeds from the $75,000,000 Kentucky Association of Counties Leasing Trust (“CoLT”) Lease Program Revenue Bonds, Variable Rate 2008 Series A were used to fund a Lease Agreement dated February 20, 2009 between CoLT, as lessor, and the University of Kentucky, as lessee. The University of Kentucky used the proceeds to finance the acquisition of the Samaritan Hospital properties located in Lexington, Kentucky.
